Well hey there, change makers!
I hope you have the capacity for where you are right now, and are feeling the appropriate emotion.
Isn’t that a lovely way to start an email?
Hat tip to Lola Fayemi, who started an email with those very words to me recently, sharing that she is experimenting with trying out new and authentic openers to conversations.
It has really inspired me to try out different ways to begin emails and connection aside from the usual “I hope you are well”.
What other openers would you add to the pot of ideas?
Let’s share in the comments below.
(and do go and say hi to Lola on her Instagram page if her sentence inspired you in any way).
Over on Brainz Magazine, I have a new article on creating content your way.
So often we can become frustrated with trying all the tips and tricks to no avail, when the missing piece is the way we are creating doesn’t feel aligned.
Read it here.
Over in the FLOWN community where I start my days with a 20 Take-Off session of meditation, morning pages and intention setting, the deep work sessions have been continuing to really help me to focus and get into a flow state super quickly.
My goal this week was to be able to take Friday afternoon off to spend some time outside in nature and enjoy Summer while it’s here.
One boat trip, ice cream, and beautifully warm afternoon later, I am so grateful I set those intentions!
Is deep work something you plan into your day? I would love to know.
(Click here to try out FLOWN for yourself on a free trial, maybe I’ll see you in a breakout room soon!)
Lastly, it’s just 3 weeks now until ‘Wild Currents: Poems on The Transformative Power of Water In Turbulent Times’ is published, and I am so excited!
Pre-order your copy here.
We have been on the Hot New Releases list for the last few weeks, and it’s such a joy to be able to finally share these words with the world.
Hear some of the poetry before the publication date by checking out some of my reels on Instagram.
Until next time,
Enjoy sharing your magic with the world!
