Hey! Jo here.
How are you doing?
It’s a super hot June day here in the U.K, so let’s keep this one super short and sweet, because after my next client call I’ll be diving into the garden sprinkler if I don’t make it to the river for a dunk.
Speaking of the river…
Thing to share #1:
My book, ‘Wild Currents: Poems On The Transformative Power of Water in Turbulent Times’ available for pre-order now on Amazon, or via Paypal for a personal, signed copy from me for UK Postage only.
I am so excited to bring this collection of poems to life, and can’t wait to share it!
Doesn’t she look fab?
‘Wild Currents’ is all about the many ways water has transformed my life and the lives of so many others through the most difficult of times.
Onto…
Thing to share #2:
I know a lot of you tried out Flown, the deep work, facilitated sessions I mentioned in my last email.
Flown “flocks” have been so helpful in staying focussed to get work done, and to slice up large projects into do-able chunks - and the people I have met in the community are really lovely.
You may also like to check out FocusMate - a similar concept in that it is peer co-working, but self hosted and in smaller portions of time.
Check it out here.
Thing to share #3
I wrote an article on creating connections and community with content for Brainz magazine, called “Going Beyond The Echo Chamber ‒ How To Create Connection And Community With Your Content".
You can read it here.
And finally - hit reply and tell me what’s happening in your work and world right now.
Jo x
P.S Race you to the river before my ice pop melts!
Substack pro right here, I’m taking notes. Thanks for the inspiration, Jo 🧠 I write JOYLAB, a substack about facilitating joy & fun in communities, plus human connection. I’m going to go ahead and cross-refer you. Hope that’s cool.
